My Experience
Unfortunately, this co-wash did NOT get along with my hair. I wanted to try it out because I had heard so many rave reviews about it, but I could tell that my hair didn't like it when I was washing it out.I styled my hair as usual, and I was right; my hair didn't like this co-wash. It lost all of its shine & had become frizzy and dry. For some reason, it made my hair a lot less curly than it usually is, and it also caused my hair to lose a lot of volume. After I finished diffusing my hair as usual, my hair was flat, frizzy, and just plain sad. :( Also, it's kind of weird that this product comes in a jar. It has the same consistency as a normal conditioner would, so I don't know why they didn't put it in a bottle.
The only positives about this are that it smells great, has a nice texture, has a decent price, and it did actually clean my hair.
So, to sum it up..
Pros:
-Smells awesome
-Has good slip & nice texture
-Cleaned hair
-Safe for color-treated hair
Cons:
-Bad packaging. Why put conditioner in a jar?
-Definitely didn't work for my hair (left it limp, frizzy, and undefined)
Unfortunately, I don't recommend buying this product. I really wanted to love this product, but sadly, it simply didn't work for me.
